Chris is Deputy Head Teacher of the innovative and incredible Kimichi School as well as a fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, the Chartered College of Teaching and the Royal Society of Arts and is also Vice Chair and Chair of Governors for the Central Region Schools Trust.

Hugely passionate about opportunity for all in his home city of Birmingham, Chris is a tireless advocate for the arts and creativity in Birmingham and beyond being the CEO of 4Stage Arts Ltd and Head of The Musical Theatre Institute UK.

His debut children’s book Millie’s Socks, illustrated by Siobhan King, has won critical acclaim from across the country and beyond for drawing attention to autism and the many ways in which it manifests in our society, to the betterment of all.
